Elmled is a collision avoidance system with led safety sign projectors. It helps avoid work accidents in production halls and warehouses in areas with limited visibility, blind spots, areas with increased forklift and other motor vehicle traffic, busy intersections and regular operational traffic. Also to be installed on overhead cranes and other cranes.

With radar or IP camera image analysis, the system detects movement (from multiple directions) and, based on predefined criteria, triggers the projection of security signs from an led projector. Elmled allows the installation of any number of radars (or cameras) and projectors, depending on the specifics of the site.

ELMLED security system activation criteria:

• Line crossing (Tripwire) – one or two-way crossing of a designated virtual line
• Object in the zone (Intrusion) – the appearance of an object in a designated zone or the mere crossing of the line of this zone
• Missing/Abandoned Object – disappearance or appearance of an object in a zone

A pedestrian or vehicle driver is warned of potential hazards (e.g., stop sign, forklift caution) or the absence of such hazards (e.g., virtual lanes or OSHA order sign) by a horizontal sign displayed by an led projector. When a pedestrian or vehicle driver leaves the zone, the warning projection stops displaying or other H&S information signs or H&S order signs are displayed.

Where will the anti-collision system be used?

• In areas with limited visibility, blind spots,
• In areas with increased traffic of forklifts and other motor vehicles,
• At busy intersections of traffic routes
• in regular operational traffic
• On overhead cranes and other cranes carrying heavy objects
• At the entrance gates

The system should be considered as an additional technical device to support security on the shop floor or warehouse.
The use of Elmled system equipment does not relieve the user of the obligation to provide basic safety measures in the workplace.
The use of Elmled system equipment does not exempt pedestrians and drivers of forklifts and other motor vehicles from the obligation to exercise due caution and comply with OSH regulations and internal regulations.
