Pipe marking self-adhesive tapes. Pipe labeling
Pipe labeling: pipe marking self-adhesive tapes. A quick and simple way to provide pipe marking is to use our self-adhesive pipe marking tape, made of premium-quality film.
The tape is available on 25 m rolls in the following standard widths: 40, 80, 100, and 160 mm.
Colour coding of pipelines – colours, arrows, and text
The colour coding of pipelines provides those working on or next to piping systems with extremely vital information. Coloured tapes and labels, featuring arrows and often additional text, describe the pipe’s content and the contents’ flow direction.
Most European and global standards use six primary colours – red, orange, yellow, brown, green and blue – and all these colours are used for specific substances. Four additional colours – black, white, grey and violet – can be applied in line with the applicable specifications as well as in-house and industry standards.
The colours of labels and text are chosen according to specific guidelines (some content requires black letters, while some needs white lettering for better visibility).
At the customer’s request, Elmetal prints pipeline identification tapes in one colour (with or without arrows), two-colour, multi-colour, with or without text, with pictograms or multi-function. Our product range also includes transparent (with arrows) and photoluminescent tapes.
Dimensions of tapes for pipeline marking depend on the pipeline’s diameter and are made in line with the customer’s specifications. The standard widths are: 40, 80, 100 or 160 mm in rolls of 25 m.
